Oops-sorry if you have sculptured carpet and like it! : ) But like I said before, our old carpet had done its duty! This sure brightened up the front rooms and hallway, and I love how it feels to walk on it!

Your new carpet looks great!

I bet the carpet feels good on your toes. I love the built in bookcases. I grew up in a house with them. It looks like you have a bay window too. How old is your house?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful old house! I like your new carpet and "sculpted" vacuum cleaner tracks are cool too.
ReplyDeleteYes, kim, we have a bay window. I'm not sure how old the house is--maybe from the 1920's. We understand that it was a "mail-order house" from Sears.
ReplyDeleteNeutral colors for carpet is always good.
ReplyDeleteThere is a cool house in town that is a mail order house from Sears. That's neat.
Yeah, neutral is good for carpet. We have one room in our house where the carpet looks like it could be in a movie theater lobby. So we were a bit limited to colors for the walls.
ReplyDeleteyour house seems very homey to me.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of a mail order house! Does anyone know the background of that? I like the architectural detail in those half walls with stained glass in them.
